As the Heads of Year 12 at RR6 we would like to welcome you to our website.
All applicants who apply for RR6 will receive high quality advice about the next steps in their education. It is always interesting to speak with young people who have shown enthusiasm for and commitment to their Sixth Form education and have thought carefully about their future plans.
Facilities
Facilities at both sites are brand new; in addition to teaching, tutorial and common rooms: the Ricards Lodge RR6 building houses an industry standard Apple Mac suite, Art rooms including photography dark rooms and a Performing Arts studio; The Rutlish RR6 building houses an Art Room, a Graphics room complete with an Apple Mac suite and two Science laboratories fit for the 21st century.
Informing families
Moving on from Year 11 brings opportunities but also anxieties and that is why it is important that the young people who are joining RR6 and their families feel supported as they make the change from Key Stage 4 to Key Stage 5.
Enrolment days
Enrolment is spread out over three days following GCSE results and also provides the opportunity for students to receive further advice and guidance about their next steps.
